After returning from Japan in the mid 1970s, Hardy opened his legendary shop at #2535 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco and proceeded to change the face of tattooing in the United States (if not the world). This mailing envelope and appointment card are from that shop. Note the incorrect address printed on the envelope.
