Huck Spaulding described these tubes as “Stainless Steel Tubes of Distinction” in his 1981 catalog. Spaulding & Rogers manufactured and sold tubes with replaceable soldered tips for many years in several different variations. Further details about this tube was given in that catalog, “Stainless steel open sanitary 5 needle (square tip) liner tube.” This tube also included a knurled grip.
