Lyle was a man of many talents, and among them was his skill as a tattoo machine builder. Over the years, he created several frame styles, with the most well-known being the Frisco Flyer—also referred to as the Eagle Machine.Always driven to innovate, Lyle continually explored new ways to improve his designs. This particular version of the Eagle Frame reflects that mindset. In an effort to move beyond the traditional clip cord, he engineered this machine to use an electric shaver cord for its power connection.The machine features a spring-loaded tube vise, and its intricate wiring (see photos) suggests it may have been one of Lyle’s personal pieces. It comes with an official Lyle Tuttle machine pouch; however, a power cord is not included.
