After the 1989 earthquake in San Francisco, Lyle had to move his tattoo shop from its famed location at #30 Seventh Street because the building was unsafe to inhibit. Conveniently he owned a building across town so the move there was smooth. His three story flatiron building was located at #841 Columbus Avenue, right on the Mason Street cable car line. The ground flood became the Tattoo Rose Café, the second floor was the tattoo shop and the third had living accommodations. This over-sized postcard and business card are from that Café.
