This is a 1980 Washington Post news article featuring tattooist Carol Nightingale who was then working at 12th and I Street in Washington, DC. Nightingale was a Canadian tattooist that bought Huck Spaulding’s DC shop in the 1960s and tattooed there for many years. The business card seen here is from his later years when he went back to Canada.
