The Life & Times: Elizabeth Weinzirl

One of the great tattoo fans of all times and often billed as the “Tattooed Grandmother”, Elizabeth was first tattooed in 1947 by Portland tattooist Max Pelz. This was just the beginning of Elizabeth’s tattoo life. By the 1970s she was attending tattoo conventions and became a great ambassador for the tattoo world. This Tattoo Archive booklet cover her life and includes a heartfelt tribute from her friend Mary Jane Haake. Features black & white and color photographs.
