The City of San Antonio is one of the oldest Spanish settlements in Texas. Running east and west in San Antonio is Houston Street which was it's oldest and most popular street for tattooing. Many of the tattooists listed in this booklet, including Tex Rowe, Earl Brown, Calamity Jane, Bob Shaw and many others had shops or worked at arcades on or near either East or West Houston Street. This booklet also features photographs and business cards.
